Location, location, location...

Muizenberg is  situated on the South Peninsula, on the  False Bay coastline.  It is a quick half an hour drive from Cape Town city center, and  ideally located  close to famous tourist destinations such as Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch and Cape Point. Muizenberg also boasts fantastic beaches, top class restaurants and a large variety of activities for children and all members of the family.

Please note that Bluebottle Guesthouse is situated on the slope of the mountain and can only be accessed by a flight of steps. (See our beloved stairs) 
Parking is on the street, with overnight security for vehicles.

Directions from the Cape Town International Airport

  • Exit the airport and travel along the N2 towards Cape Town

  • Take the M3 turnoff towards Muizenberg

  • Drive along the M3 until the road end in a T-junction

  • Turn left into Steenberg road

  • Turn right at the traffic lights into Main Road

  • Continue along Main Road, past the Masque Theatre on your left

  • Turn right into Ronleigh road, opposite Bedfellows furniture shop

  • Ronleigh road makes a sharp bend to the right

  • Follow the road for about 100m after the bend

  • You will see a sign that says Bluebottle Guesthouse on the left

  • Our sign is at the bottom of a set of steps going up to the left

  • Park at the bottom of these steps (which is Mount road)

  • We are the 4th house from the bottom, a grey double storey house on the right

  • Our address is 18 Mount road, Muizenberg, 7945

  • For GPS directions type in 16 Mount Rd,  bringing you to the bottom of the Mount road stairs
